DESCRIPTION: Larger sized amethyst cathedral geode that is about as wide as it is tall. The very hollow cavern is lined with amethyst crystals that grade from nearly white at the lining to dark purple at their tips, and have crystal sizes up to 1.50 inches. It is important to note that the color change in the crystals from the lining to the tip is very pronounced - in our experience, some customers have preferred this while others do not so it is important to mention here. Also note the depth of the geode (up to 7 inches just on the inside of the geode), you need to allow a good 10-11 inches in front to back display space.
