DESCRIPTION: Amethyst plate with natural non-painted greenish colored base. The amethyst crystals are up to and in some places over an inch across and an inch in length, and illustrate throughout most of the specimen darker tips. The closeup photographs show the plate quite well for color and crystal quality. As one would expect, there are some crystals along the edge of the specimen that are slightly nicked or cleaved.
