Pictured below are opened coconut geode pairs from Mexico. These geodes have been opened with a soil pipe cutter into two nearly equally sized halves. The pairs below are not polished, but they do polish well (we do not polish them - contact your nearest club or rock shop for polishing details and suggested equipment).  The geode pair pictured is the actual pair you will receive, with no substitutions!

The price indicated is for the matching pair (both halves), not just one half.

IMPORTANT SHIPPING NOTE:  All of the pairs below are eligible for Priority mail flat rate box shipping (U.S. customers $10.70 shipping option in the secure Shopping Cart, $26.95 for Mexico/Canada and $43.45 for all other international countries) if you meet the order conditions and quantities indicated later in this paragraph.  Please check shipping rates, however - your order may be more economical to be sent through regular Priority mail if only ordering one or two pairs.  We recommend that you ship by another method listed if ordering stands as well.  Contact us if you have questions.

 #CP 218 - Each half 10 x 10 cm (3.9 x 3.9 inches) - Brown-rimmed coconut pair lined with smoky quartz crystals and several small brown calcite crystals on top.  $20.00 for the pair

#CP 244 - Each half 6.5 x 5.5 cm (2.6 x 2.2 inches) - Brown-rimmed coconut geode pair with an interior comprised of light smoky quartz and secondary calcites.  $7.00 for the pair

 #CP 213 - Each half 9 x 7.5 cm (3.5 x 2.9 inches) - Light smoky quartz lined and also contains a couple secondaries of wafer calcite including the larger multi-crystal in the right half.  The larger crystal in the right half is slightly cleaved (was cleaved when the geode was opened).  $15.00 for the pair

#CP 211 - Each half 9.5 x 8.5 cm (3.7 x 3.3 inches) - Brown-rimmed coconut pair with drusy quartz crystals.  Although the photographs do not show it, the right half's interior actually protrudes outward instead of having a cavity with depth.  $17.00 for the pair

 

#CP 265 - Each half 6 x 5 cm (2.4 x 2 inches).  Brown rimmed coconut geode pair with light smoky quartz lining and a few small brown calcite crystals.  $7.00 for the pair

 

#CP 262 - Each half 7 x 6.6 cm (2.8 x 2.65 inches) - Brown-rimmed smoky quartz lined coconut geode with small brown calcites on top.  $8.00 for the pair

#CP 273 - Each half 6 x 5.8 cm (2.4 x 2.35 inches).  Brown rimmed coconut geode pair with a medium smoky quartz interior.  Price for the pair is $7.00.

#CP 275 - Each half 6.7 x 5 cm (2.7 x 2 inches).  Very hollow clear to slightly smoky quartz lined geode with some secondary calcites mainly in the left half.  Price is $8.00 for the pair.

#CP 230 - Each half 8.5 x 8.5 cm (3.3 x 3.3 inches) - This coconut geode pair has more scientific interest than anything - to the decorator it is, quite frankly, ugly, but does show some of the mineral paragenesis that is seen in the coconut geodes.  The geode is lined with a clear to light amethyst quartz, but a later stage of mordenite (white mineral) came in later and formed the white coating.  Approximately 5% of all coconut geodes have mordenite in them, so it is more often you don't find something like this than you do.  $12.00 for the pair

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

#CP 239 - Each half 10 x 8 cm (3.9 x 3.2 inches) - Very hollow drusy quartz lined coconut geode pair with a hint of smoky color but mostly just a clear to greyish quartz lining.  Minor calcite is also present in the cavity.  $25.00 for the pair  on hold
