Sphalerite on Dolostone - Cumberland Mine, Elmwood District, Smith Co., Tennessee

A dolostone base serves host to several small ruby jack sphalerites that nearly coat the dolostone base, with larger black sphalerites also. A few very, very small doubly terminated calcites are also observed. Just minor rubbing along the edges of the specimen.
