Keokuk "A" Grade Flat: 16 x 10.5 inch flat containing 120-150 geode halves/pieces from 1-2 inches in diameter ($15 each flat).
Keokuk "AA" Grade Flat: 16 x 10.5 inch flat containing 45-60 geode halves/pieces around 2 inches in diameter ($20 each flat).
Keokuk "AAA" Grade Flat: 16 x 10.5 inch flat containing 20-25 geode halves around 3-4 inches in diameter ($30 each flat).
Keokuk Matching Pairs Flat: 17 1/2 x 12 inch flat containing 10-15 matching geode pairs mostly 3-4 inches in diameter ($35 each flat).
Keokuk BIG Boxes: Paper ream box containing usually 5-8 geode halves/pieces at least 6 inches in diameter ($45 each box).

"A" Grade Flats: These flats contain mostly small halves or pieces (maximum diameter of 2 inches across). These are ideal for grab bags, gem digs, door prizes, or gifts to many people or children at a low price. Each of these flats has approximately 120-150 geode halves/pieces per flat but varies from flat to flat. Each of these flats is $15.00. Approximately 5-7 pounds each shipping weight. We can ship up to 2 flats in a flat rate Priority mail box.

"AA" Grade Flats: These flats contain mostly geode halves roughly 2 inches in diameter. Some geodes will contain secondary mineral inclusions such as calcite, pyrite, dolomite, and kaolinite. These are ideal for grab bags, door prizes, or gifts to many people at a low price. Each flat contains approximately 45-60 geode halves or nearly halves (some pieces if large enough for a AA flat) and each of these flats is $20.00. Approximately 6-7 pounds each shipping weight. One flat eligible for Priority mail flat rate shipping.

"AAA" Grade Flats: These flats contain geode halves or sections of larger geodes that are mostly between 3-4 inches in diameter. Approximately half of the geodes will contain secondary minerals such as calcite, pyrite, dolomite, kaolinite, etc. but this percentage varies from flat to flat. Each flat contains approximately 15-25 halves depending on the size of the geodes included, with most flats containing between 20 and 25 geodes. Approximately 10-15 pounds each shipping weight. Each of these flats is $30.00. Not eligible for flat rate Priority shipping.

Individual specimens are generally 3-4 inches in diameter, with some smaller pieces used to fill holes in between larger halves. Contents of this flat are mostly halves.

Keokuk Geodes Matching Pairs Flats: These flats contain matching Keokuk geode pairs, meaning both halves of the entire geode are present to form the entire geode. Typically, these flats contain geodes with diameters between 3 and 4 inches, with some smaller geodes used to fill holes near larger geodes. On average, there are approximately 10-15 matching pairs in each of these flats. The geodes are usually quartz with some chalcedony or calcite lined specimens and some have some secondary minerals in them but these are mainly just more common but quality Keokuk geode pairs that cater to the reseller versus collector specimens. Each of these flats is $35.00. Shipping weight is near 15 pounds. Not eligible for Priority mail flat rate shipping.

Most halves in each pair are between 3 and 4 inches in diameter, with some smaller geodes used to fill in gaps between larger geodes. With an average of 10-15 pairs per flat, this works out to only $2.33 to $3.50 a pair individually before shipping, allowing for good markup in a resale situation.

Keokuk BIG Boxes: The BIG Boxes are back! These boxes containing halves and pieces anywhere from 4 to 12 inches in diameter have made a return to The Geode Gallery! Mined by The Geode Gallery and traditionally one of our best sellers in the past, these geodes are ideal specimens for outside and interior decoration (rock gardens, greenhouses, tabletop or corner display, use in fireplace and/or other structures built out of rock and specimens, etc.). Shipping weight is usually in the 25-35 pound range per box. The BIG boxes are most economically shipped via Fedex Ground in the continental USA. Not eligible for Priority mail flat rate shipping.

#KGB 04: Five (5) halves and pieces measuring 6-10 inches. The box is dominated by the big half that measures 10 inches in diameter. The rest of the box contains one half and three pieces. Weight before packing is 29 pounds. $45.00
