Hungary 01:  12 x 7 x 4 cm (4.7 x 2.8 x 1.6 inches) - $45.00

Hungary 02:  6 x 5.5 cm (2.4 x 2.2 inches) - $25.00

Sand calcite - Malyi, Hungary:  Interesting specimen that is a cluster of calcite and associated sand.  Individual crystals range in size from 2 - 4 cm (0.8 to 1.6 inches).  Some rubs are present in a few areas and a stripe of contact on the base, but the specimen can be displayed so neither of these problems are seen.

Quartz (var. Amethyst) - Nyiri, Zempleni Mountains., Borsod-Abauj-Zemplen Co., Hungary:  Miniature to small cabinet sized specimen of this variety of quartz that is highly regarded among European collectors.  A little bit of iron is present (the orange color) but a nice smaller specimen of this variety of quartz.

Hungary 03:  7.5 x 6 x 2.5 cm (3 x 2.4 x 1 inches) - $50.00

Hungary 04:  8.5 x 5 x 2 cm (3.35 x 2 x 0.8 inches) - $35.00

Quartz (var. Amethyst) - Nyiri, Zempleni Mountains., Borsod-Abauj-Zemplen Co., Hungary:  Fine small cabinet specimen with a good rich purple color.  A little bit of edge matrix on left and side of the specimen.  Uniform purple color throughout.

Quartz (var. Amethyst) - Nyiri, Zempleni Mountains., Borsod-Abauj-Zemplen Co., Hungary:  Small cabinet specimen of this variety of quartz.  Not quite as aesthetic and balanced in terms of the purple color as you would like to see - specimen is a good reference quality piece from this location.  Orange coloring is iron in association.

Hungary 05:  11 x 11 x 1.5 cm (4.3 x 4.3 x 0.6 inches) - $100.00

Hungary 06:  9 x 7 x 5 cm (3.5 x 2.8 x 2 inches) - $45.00

Quartz (var. Amethyst) - Nyiri, Zempleni Mountains., Borsod-Abauj-Zemplen Co., Hungary:  Cabinet sized plate-like specimen of amethyst with associated calcite?  Just a touch of iron here and there - one of the better cabinet specimens of this material I have handled given no showing matrix and lack of damage.

Sand calcite - Malyi, Hungary:  Fine borderline small cabinet/cabinet specimen of calcite with associated sand.  A few trivial rubs on a few of the balls but nothing significant.  Artistically interesting given the arrangement.
