#GY-17 Specimen Description: A nice cabinet-sized specimen featuring a widely scattered grouping of darker green gyrolite balls on a quartz matrix that also contains some laumontite sheaves (white bladed crystals). The photographs do not do much justice to this specimen, but the contrast between the gyrolites and the quartz coated matrix is much more pronounced and the balls are slightly more green than as they show here but not far off. No damage besides typical contact to the edges.
