#OK-04 Description: This specimen was difficult to photograph due to its arrangement, but hopefully these photographs will give you an idea of what this specimen is all about. A C-shaped vug is host to several okenite puffballs in its cavity, and also an apophyllite crystal (the okenites totally surround the apophyllite, but a portion of the crystal is visible in the bottom right photograph). Prehnite and laumontite are in association. Rather typical vug but multi-minerals make this one more typical than usual. Nice specimen!
PACKING NOTICE: All okenites are very fragile. Great care and large amounts of packing were required to get these specimens from India to us, and we will do the same to send to you. All okenites are packed in cotton to avoid any further damage. In the past, recipients of our okenite specimens have found specimens to arrive in excellent condition.
