    Well-defined and striated geodized horn coral fossil collected from the lower Warsaw Formation dolostone beds near Keokuk, Iowa. The base on this specimen is slighly concave which is typical of the better defined specimens. The upper tip, while not as sharp as some, is complete. Measures 2.75 x 1.60 x 1.10 inches, collected in 2011. Based on the weight, this specimen is likely solid quartz on the inside.
