Two vugs in this basalt specimen contain groupings of what is likely a natrolite/scolecite association. The specimen when acquired from a dealer in India was labeled as being from Malad-Kurar, Quarry #10 in Bombay (Mumbai) and the matrix does appear to confirm this. The terminations on the crystals suggest a scolecite habit versus mesolite or natrolite, but there may be some natrolite mixed in given the location. I always welcome your thoughts if you feel this is a correct identification or if you disagree - feel free to contact me with your thoughts either way as I want to make sure this is labeled correctly.
