The Geode Gallery's Current Show Schedule
The Geode Gallery is well-known especially in the South, Midwest, and Great Lakes regions of the country as the "geode people" and the "geode family". We have a reputation for providing quality geodes and minerals at surprisingly lower prices in comparison to our competitors in addition to giving our customers excellent customer service in the process. We have been cracking geodes at shows since 1999 and we offer the most varied selection of geodes to open at shows including Keokuk geodes mined exclusively by us. We offer the largest selection of Keokuk geodes in addition to a continually expanding variety of decorator and collector grade minerals. We are always adding additional specimens to our stock, nearly all directly from the source. Our focus is on offering newly mined geodes from all over the Earth. If you like geodes, our booth is a must visit at shows!

Toledo, Ohio - September 10-12, 2010 - Stranahan Theatre Complex off Heatherdowns Avenue on the extreme southwest edge of Toledo. From the Ohio Turnpike (I-80 and I-90), take Exit 59 and after paying your toll proceed north on Reynolds Road to Heatherdowns and make a right. We will have geodes and minerals, and cracking geodes as usual.
Holland, Michigan - September 17-19, 2010 - Holland Civic Center in downtown Holland at the corner of 8th and Pine Streets. We will have geodes and minerals, and will be cracking geodes as usual. More details closer to the show. For more information, please visit http://www.tulipcity.org .
Oshkosh, Wisconsin - September 25-26, 2010 - Sunnyview Expo Center, Winnebago County Fairgrounds on the northeast side of Oshkosh. From US 41, take Exit 124 (Jackson Street exit), head south, and follow the signs to the Sunnyview Expo Center and fairgrounds. We will have geodes and minerals and will be cracking geodes as usual. Springfield, Illinois - October 2-3, 2010 - Illinois Building, Illinois State Fairgrounds on the northwest edge of Springfield. From I-55, take Exit 100 (Sangamon Avenue toward the fairgrounds) and watch for the signs once you approach the south side of the fairgrounds. We will be cracking and selling geodes ONLY (no minerals) at this show, and we will be displaying our traditional case of geodes found since last year's show in addition to other geode and/or mineral specimens. Please contact us prior to September 30th with special requests to bring to this show.
Detroit (Warren), Michigan - October 8-10, 2010 - Sports/Expo Center, South Macomb Community College at the corner of 12 Mile and Hayes in Warren. Houston (Humble), Texas - November 12-14, 2010 - Humble Civic Center in Humble, 5 miles east of Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). Kansas City, Missouri - March 11-13, 2011 - MCC/BTC Exhibit Hall, 1775 Universal Avenue on the eastern side of Kansas City. From I-435, take the Front Street exit and proceed west to Universal Avenue and follow the signs. We will have geodes and minerals, and will be cracking geodes as usual. Memphis, Tennessee - April 23-24, 2011 - Agricenter on the eastern edge of Memphis. From I-240, take the Walnut Grove Road and head east about 3-4 miles, and look for the Agricenter signs on the right. From Germantown Parkway, the turnoff for the Agricenter is immediately west of the interchange between Walnut Grove Road and Germantown Parkway. Syracuse, New York - July 9-10, 2011 - AFMS/EFMLS combined National Show - Center of Progress Building, New York State Fairgrounds on the western side of Syracuse. From I-690, take the Fairgrounds/Solvay exit and enter the fairgrounds through Gate 2 and follow the signs. We will have geodes and minerals and cracking geodes as usual. ***Note: We attend other shows that are not listed above. If we were in your area for a show the year before, and it does not appear on the list, in most cases we have not received an invitation/contract as of yet because the show just occurred (most clubs send invites/contracts anywhere from 3-9 months ahead of the actual show) or in very infrequent occurrences we will not be returning. We receive many inquiries asking if we attend the Tucson, West Springfield (MA), and Denver shows. At the present time, we do NOT attend these shows. We may consider these shows in future years.
