The Geode Gallery's Current Show Schedule
The Geode Gallery is well-known especially in the South, Midwest, and Great Lakes regions of the country as the "geode people" and the "geode family". We have a reputation for providing quality geodes and minerals at low prices in addition to giving our customers excellent customer service in the process. We have been cracking geodes at shows since 1999 and we offer the most varied selection of geodes to open at shows including Keokuk geodes exclusively mined by us. If you like geodes, our booth is a must visit at shows! Always look for new specimens as we are constantly mining fresh geodes and receiving imports from overseas.
2011
Houston (Humble), Texas - November 11-13, 2011 - Humble Civic Center in Humble. From US 59, take the Will Clayton Parkway exit and head east one mile to the civic center. For those flying in to the show, the civic center is conveniently located about five miles east of Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). Nashville (Franklin), Tennessee - NEW LOCATION - December 10-11, 2011 - Main Arena Mezzanine Level, Williamson County AgExpoPark near Franklin. From I-65, take Exit 61. Jackson, Mississippi - February 25-26, 2012 - Trade Mart, Mississippi State Fairgrounds east of downtown Jackson. From I-55, take the High Street exit (Exit 96B) and head west. Turn left into the fairgrounds at the second light, and the trade mart will be to your left. We will have geodes and minerals, and will be cracking geodes as usual. We will have several very large Keokuk geode halves and pairs available at this show. More details closer to the show.
Kansas City, Missouri - March 9-11, 2012 - NEW LOCATION - KCI Expo Center on the northwest side of Kansas City near the international airport. From I-29, take Exit 12 (112th Street exit), go east, and then go north on Ambassador drive to the Expo Center. From I-435, take Exit 36 (Route D) and then go south on Ambassador Drive to the Expo Center. We will have geodes and minerals, and will be cracking geodes as usual. Memphis, Tennessee - April 28-29, 2012 - Agricenter on the far east side of Memphis. From I-40, take the Germantown Parkway exit and head south to the Walnut Grove Road exit and immediately make a left into the Agricenter complex. From I-240, take the Walnut Grove Road exit and head east to the turnoff for the Agricenter. We will have geodes and minerals, and will be cracking geodes as usual. More details closer to the show. Minneapolis (Minnetonka), Minnesota - July 27-29, 2012 - A Celebration of Agates, AFMS/MWF Combined Show, Lindbergh Center at Hopkins High School, 2400 Lindbergh Drive. Located near the I-394/US 169 interchange - from US 169, take the Cedar Lake Road exit, head west, and then make a right on Lindbergh Drive. We will have geodes and minerals, and will be cracking Mexican coconut, Trancas, and Keokuk geodes on location. To go along with the theme of the show, we will be offering Brazilian agates (both cut and polished pairs and whole agate geodes containing water on the inside that can either be cut open on your own or we will crack them open on the spot). If we were in your area for a show the year before, and it does not appear on the list, in most cases we have not received an invitation/contract as of yet because the show just occurred (most clubs send invites/contracts anywhere from 3-9 months ahead of the actual show) or in very infrequent occurrences we will not be returning. We receive many inquiries asking if we attend the Tucson, West Springfield (MA), and Denver shows. At the present time, we do NOT attend these shows. We may consider these shows in future years.
