Pictured below are opened Trancas geode pairs from Mexico. These geodes have been opened with a soil pipe cutter into two nearly equally sized halves. The pairs below are not polished.  The geode pair pictured is the actual pair you will receive, with no substitutions!

The price indicated is for the matching pair (both halves), not just one half.

IMPORTANT SHIPPING NOTE:  If ordering multiple pairs, it may be cheaper to have them shipped in a Priority mail flat rate box (U.S. customers $10.70 shipping option in the secure Shopping Cart, $26.95 for Mexico/Canada and $43.45 for all other international countries) if you are ordering 8 or fewer geode pairs.  We recommend that you ship by another method if ordering more than three pairs and are ordering stands as well.  Contact us if you have questions.

#Trancas Pair 25:  Each half approximately 8 x 7.6 cm (3.2 x 3 inches).  Quartz lined with some finer drusy crystals in left half.  $6.00 for the matching pair.

#Trancas Pair 26:  Each half approximately 10 x 7 cm (3.9 x 2.8 inches).  Very hollow quartz lined geode with a hint of darker color and several small quartz fingers in both halves.  $10.00 for the matching pair.

#Trancas Pair 27:  Each half approximately 10.2 x 7 cm (4 x 2.8 inches).  Beautiful sparkling very hollow quartz lined geode with some blue and smoky color.  $12.00 for the matching pair. sold

#Trancas Pair 28:  Each half measures approximately 8 x 7 cm (3.2 x 2.8 inches).  Bubbly drusy quartz lined geode with some calcite or fine dust deposits in the larger half.  $5.00 for the matching pair.

#Trancas Pair 29:  Each half measures approximately 7 x 7 cm (2.8 x 2.8 inches).  Sparkly drusy quartz lined geode that looks better in person than in these pictures.  $7.00 for the matching pair.

#Trancas Pair 30:  Each half measures approximately 7.5 x 7 cm (3 x 2.8 inches).  Mix of quartz crystals and drusy quartz (especially in left half) along with some brown calcite or dust/dirt deposits.  $7.00 for the matching pair.

#Trancas Pair 31:  Each half measures approximately 6 x 6 cm (2.4 x 2.4 inches).  One half is lined with calcite over quartz and the other half a chalcedony/agate/quartz mix.  $5.00 for the matching pair.

#Trancas Pair 32:  Each half measures approximately 7 x 5.7 cm (2.8 x 2.25 inches).  Bubbly chalcedony/agate lined geode with some fingers or worms especially in the left half.  $6.00 for the matching pair.

#Trancas Pair 33:  Each half measures approximately 6 x 5.7 cm (2.4 x 2.25 inches).  Quality very hollow drusy quartz lined geode with several secondary quartz fingers in both halves.  Some calcites in the bottom of the left half.  $8.00 for the matching pair.

#Trancas Pair 34:  Left half measures approximately 6.5 x 6 cm (2.6 x 2.4 inches), left half is larger than right half.  The geode rind is actually much more pink in color than shown here - the cavity has a drusy quartz lining with some calcites here and there.  $6.00 for the matching pair.

#Trancas Pair 35:  Each half measures approximately 5.5 x 5 cm (2.2 x 2 inches).  Small but mighty geode with a chalcedony/agate lining, quartz fingers and calcites intermixed.  $6.00 for the matching pair.

 

 

 

 

#Trancas Pair 37:  Each half measures 6 x 5.5 cm (2.4 x 2.2 inches).  Very hollow quartz lined geode with a scattering of calcites and a few quartz fingers in the left half.  A few calcites on the edge of each half were cleaved when the geode was opened.  $7.00 for the matching pair.

#Trancas Pair 38:  Each half measures approximately 5.5 x 5 cm (2.2 x 2 inches) with cavity depth in left half up to 4 cm (1.6 inches).  Quartz lined with some small calcites.  $4.00 for the matching pair.

#Trancas Pair 39:  Each half measures approximately 6.8 x 6 cm (2.75 x 2.4 inches).  Quartz lined with some drusy quartz overlay in the left half and a little bit of brown calcite/dirt deposit.  $6.00 for the matching pair.

 

#Trancas Pair 40:  Each half measures approximately 5.5 x 5 cm (2.2 x 2 inches) - left half has a separate joined chamber in back of geode that makes it longer.  Chalcedony/quartz lined geode with some quartz fingers that show damage caused by opening the geode.  $5.00 for the matching pair.

#Trancas Pair 41:  Each half measures approximately 8 x 5.2 cm (3.2 x 2.05 inches).  Neat double-celled light smoky quartz lined geode - the smoky Trancas geodes are not as frequently seen as their clear quartz relatives.  Some calcites also present mainly in the larger cavity.  $10.00 for the matching pair.

#Trancas Pair 42:  Each half measures approximately 6.5 x 5.5 cm (2.6 x 2.2 inches).  Quartz lined  with a larger quartz cluster in the smaller (right) half.  $6.00 for the matching pair.

#Trancas Pair 43:  Main cavity in each half measures approximately 6 x 6 cm (2.4 x 2.4 inches).  Drusy crystallized quartz lining with an additional quartz growth in the left half.  $7.00 for the matching pair.

#Trancas Pair 44:  Each half measures approximately 6 x 6 cm (2.4 x 2.4 inches).  Bubbly drusy quartz lined geode.  $7.00 for the matching pair.
