Wholesale Information: The Geode Gallery is the leading supplier of Keokuk, Iowa area geodes. Keokuk geodes are our specialty but you will also find that our mineral specimens are priced attractively for resale purposes with the discounts provided below. We ARE THE SOURCE for Keokuk geodes and for those specimens we are not mining, we buy direct from the individuals or companies that did mine them.

Wholesale Price List
All prices listed below are FOB, Roseville, Illinois. See shipment options below price list. Please read the following terms before proceeding:
1) Minimum total wholesale order is $50.00, minimum quantities apply for certain products. Please take note of these minimum requirements before ordering.
2) Some specimens are offered in "lots" below. Prices for the indicated "lots" is the net price - no additional discount available for these "lots" as they are already priced wholesale.
3) Please note that you may order wholesale through our secure online shopping cart. Please double-check your order when ordering through our cart - all shipping costs are estimated and subject to change on your receipt but usually the cost is pretty close. If you are ordering wholesale for the first time through us, you MUST provide your resale or tax ID number in the "Special Instructions" section of the shopping cart when Checking Out, call us at (309) 335-6740, send it by email to sand@maplecity.com, or your order will be cancelled.
KEOKUK GEODES
The Geode Gallery has the largest stock and best quality Keokuk, Iowa area geodes available. Un-opened (Whole), Opened (matching pairs and halves), bulk flats/boxes of opened geodes, and individual larger hollow geode halves and pieces. Sizes available range from 2 inches up to 15 inches in diameter.
Whole (Un-Opened) Keokuk Geodes:
All Keokuk geodes are guaranteed at least 90% hollow, to contain a clear and/or orange colored quartz lining, and some may also contain calcite, pyrite, and infrequently sphalerite, barite, chalcedony, or gypsum. These geodes can be opened with either a soil pipe cutter, hammer/chisel, or rock saw. Whole Keokuk Geodes Sample pictures of typical geode interiors below:

Opened Keokuk Geodes (matching pairs): Minimum order $50.00
Matching Keokuk geode pairs include Keokuk geodes that have been opened into two nearly equally sized halves with a soil pipe cutter or chisel and do NOT have polished edges. Keokuk geodes look better with natural edges given their skin characteristics and lack of banding. Keokuk geode pairs can be ordered either by selecting Keokuk geode pairs from our retail website at http://www.geodegallery.com/keokuk/cracked.html or http://www.geodegallery.com/keokuk/keokukpairs.html or you may order pre-selected lots provided in our wholesale page. To order pairs off our retail site, please send us an email or call (309) 335-6740. Wholesale discount is 20% off retail prices for orders between $50 and $300, 30% off retail prices for orders totaling over $300.00.

Large Keokuk Geode Halves and Pieces: Keokuk Geode Halves/Pieces too big for the flats. Minimum order 10 pounds.
Hollow Keokuk geode halves and pieces (non matching) measuring between 6 and 15 inches in diameter with the same interiors as the smaller geodes but too large to fit in a flat above. Individual weights between 3 and 100+ pounds available depending on size. Choose your size and quantity and we will provide a weight estimate for your order and pricing. All opened geodes have natural rough edges, they are not cut or polished.

Mineral Specimens: Mineral specimens are sold on a wholesale basis in a case-by-case scenario or by specimen type. Our current wholesale buyers need to know that due to fluctuating market availability and the resultant change of prices, these prices may change without notice so please check this page or ask prices before ordering.
Minimum order on all minerals: $100.00
Elmwood, Tennessee minerals: Wholesale discounts are not available on Elmwood minerals.
All other minerals shown on the website will be discounted by the following price brackets:
Total order between $100-$300 retail marked prices - take 10% off
Total order between $300-$500 retail marked prices - take 20% off
Total order between $500-$1000 retail marked prices - take 25% off
Total order of $1000 or more, retail marked prices - take 30% off
Besides Elmwood material, we have a very large stock or can get a very large quantity of most all other minerals on the website. When ordering, tell us your needs if you need something other than pictured on the website. If we don't have it, we'll tell you how long it will take to get it and estimated price. Please keep in mind that even though large quantities are available or we can get a large quantity, the quality will still be high on all specimens. We do not sacrifice quality for quantity!

Shipping Information for Wholesale Orders:
Prices listed on the website and this wholesale page and any accompanying pages are FOB, Roseville, Illinois, meaning freight/insurance costs are not included in the price and will be added to your order whether you check out online through our secure shopping cart or by email or phone. The only exception to this is air/sea cargo shipments (CIF - see below).
See below for shipment options for domestic/international orders.
Domestic Wholesale Orders: All wholesale orders in the United States will be shipped through Fedex Ground or Dayton Freight. Please select either the Fedex Ground Commercial or Fedex Ground Residential shipping option in our shopping cart when Checking Out. Freight rates will be added to your invoice once we obtain the rates for delivery from Dayton Freight once your order is packed and any special services (liftgate, residential delivery) are added to the freight cost. Orders sent by freight are usually most economical for shipments weighing over 300 pounds. Either shipping service takes 1-5 business days for delivery in the continental United States. Puerto Rico takes 5 days, Alaska takes 6 days, and Hawaii usually 8-12 days for delivery through Fedex. Dayton Freight services available ONLY in the continental United States.
International Wholesale Orders: For large quantity, heavy orders, PLEASE CONTACT US prior to ordering. We use direct air cargo (international airport to international airport), United States postal service (post office (USPS)), or Federal Express International (by request only). The shipping method used for international orders is highly dependent on what is shipped and especially the quantity shipped. Smaller orders are almost always shipped through the post office, but large quantities of items or large items (such as drums, crates, large/heavy boxes) are usually shipped air cargo. You may request to pre-pay the freight and insurance before the shipment is exported (CIF), or be responsible for paying of all freight costs upon arrival at your port of entry. We pay brokerage and agent fees in good faith.
Very important for international shipments via air cargo: if shipping is through air cargo, you MUST be able to have the shipment sent to your nearest international airport that handles cargo shipments through the various airlines that handle cargo. Most airlines handle cargo, but some handle only specific kinds of cargo and most also have different policies regarding cargo exporting/importing as well as some airlines only operate in certain locations. We will provide you with freight quotes from various airlines when ordering. You must also realize that you or a customs broker (strongly recommended and required in many locations now) will need to clear the goods through customs during or upon arrival of goods at their destination. Goods will not be released to you until goods are cleared through the customs agency in your country, and a grace period from arrival until goods are charged storage by the airline's warehouse exists! Customs fees are your responsibility upon arrival, we are not responsible for those so please keep that in mind before you decide to directly import goods. After goods are cleared through customs, you may pick up or may also arrange to have a local trucking/delivery company deliver the goods to you, but again, this will come at an additional expense. We strongly suggest you check on the process of importing goods through air cargo in your country before you order! We will not be held responsible for any miscellaneous fees you will need to pay upon arrival of goods in your country.

You may pay by cash, check/money order, all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover/Novus, or American Express), Paypal, Western Union, or bank wire transfer.
International customers MUST pay through Paypal (if available), credit card, Western Union, or bank wire transfer. We encourage international buyers to pay through Western Union or bank wire transfer if at all possible.
All checks must clear our bank prior to shipping of goods.
NET10 and NET30 options are available for well-established customers. We will notify you when you reach this status.
